On to sharing my story for all the people who always ask me how I get to do all that I do. Pull up a seat and grab your coffee or tea, lean in to hear my story.

Before I left secondary or high school, I was working with my mom on a volunteer basis as she served as the secretary to the member of parliament for St. Ann’s East. In that office, she also ran a medical facility which served the community on a weekly basis. After finishing school, I went on to On-the-Job Training at the Ministry of Legal Affairs. There I met a young man who gave me a great piece of advice that stayed with me. He told me if I wanted to make a difference and always be valuable any place I go, always make other people’s lives easier. I practiced it and I must tell you that it has been proven true, time and time again. After attending one year of college in Trinidad, I migrated to the United States where I further pursued my education. I did an Associates in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Management and Psychology, a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Business Administration. As if that was not enough, I began my Doctoral Degree and two courses away from completion, I had to press pause. You see I always believe that a person should not just live and die but they should do meaningful things in between.

My working career unfolded in the United States when I  worked in a law office, and daycare before I launched into my Healthcare and Business Management Career. In most instances I worked closely with Presidents and CEO’s. I enjoyed what I did because I was able to touch lives and impact change. Although I loved what I did, something was missing and in 2018, I felt that my mission at the Healthcare System for which I worked with the CEO and Corporate Board had ended and I had to move on. I tendered my resignation, and I launched out as a full time entrepreneur. I worked as a professional real estate agent and investor. Prior to launching out I had become a certified personal fitness trainer, though never training non family, I was happy to have the background and know-how because I love exercising and personal fitness. Additionally, I planned and coordinated events including weddings. I also serve as a Vocal Artist Manager. Through everything that I did, there was always one common thread – helping and serving others.

This was the case even at my home church where I wore many hats throughout the years, serving in the music department, as a trainer for event consultants, in the Adventurer department, as Media Director, as ESL Director, as Coordinator for the Comprehensive Health Intensive Program, and sang in the youth choir and in a community choir. My calling is helping others and that was clear.

​

People older than me, especially women often told me that they look up to me. Others have always said that I had an old soul because of the maturity that I exhibited coming up through the ranks of teens, 20’s, and 30’s.

​

It really hit home for me when one day I was meditating on how I can reach more people and truly help, and I spoke with God deeply. It came to me clearly that I am to use what I already had. I already had the tools. I was still meditating and then the story of the widow who came to Elisha found in 2 Kings 4:1-7 came to me. And, I was excited, something leaped within me and I said, YES!!! THAT’S IT! Use what I had. I already have the natural ability to help people. I naturally fall into a posture of coaching and over the years have conducted numerous coaching sessions on various topics. With my realization to use what I had, I invested in a coaching certification program and formalized my coaching so that I can launch forward in a greater way to impact many more lives. With my extensive educational and practical background in business and my confidence level, I was able to turn around my real estate business. In 2018 when I launched out, within my first year I did not make much money. Yes, I made less than half my original income. That was not a good place to live! For those who are in business and have little to no revenue, you know what I went through. After all, what is an entrepreneur without revenue and profits? I used what I had and I created a scalable system that changed my income to six figures within 12 months – now, I am a true entrepreneur!

I now combine what I already had both my coaching skills and my extensive business background, and I am helping entrepreneurs to shift their mindset while creating scalable systems to achieve their revenue goals. YES!!
