Birthdays are Oh So Special

September is the month of my birth. As far back as I can recall, my birthday has been a big deal each year. Whether it is quiet or not, I still made it memorable. For a few reasons I do not take my birthday for granted.

For starters, I did not have to see another year, but God saw it fit. Then, there are many who did not see another day let another year. And, if I am in the land of the living then I have a grand purpose to fulfill for my God. So, these and many other reasons are why I find birthdays a big deal.

Not only do I find my birthday to be a big deal but the birthdays of others too. Sometimes I hear people say, it's just another day. The truth is when God created us, it was extremely special, it was no ordinary day and therefore if the Master of the Universe can think of my birthday in this way, then why shouldn't I?

Birthdays are Oh So Special and we should treat them just that way!
